The modeler can use this set in combination with the AK-002 set to modulate the Dunkelgeb or the famous German dark yellow. Furthermore this set only contains 6 colors. Primer and satin varnish not included. In this way, the modeler can choose the primer they want and do not have to pay extra for another one. Also, these new paints are slightly satin to avoid the need to apply a varnish afterwards.
