Love these to store breastmilk! These storage bottles are easier to read than Medela bottles and they are also cheaper. However, the cap is very annoying. Wish they will come out the solid cap without the nipple holes in the future.I like itI've been using these bottles on and off for the past 3 years for pumping at work after maternity leave for all my kids. I initially used them with an Ameda Purely Yours pump but the motor gave out after a year of intense use. I currently use the bottles with the Hygeia Q pump (awesome btw). You do need to buy the adapter made by Hygeia though. It's orange and you just screw the adapter ring onto the bottom of the pump flange and then screw the Ameda bottle into the adapter ring. It's called the "Hygeia Narrow Mouth Bottle Adapter Ring" and you can do a search for it. Should cost less than $10 for a set of 2.Anyway, these Ameda bottles rock. They're inexpensive, durable and very functional, with clear markings and the ability to write on the bottles if needed. They're only marked up to 4 oz but I get 5 oz worth by filling above that line, though not quite all the way to the top. As long as you put the cap on correctly, they don't leak at all which is also important. To clean, I just toss the parts in a big stainless steel bowl filled with soapy hot water and then use a bottle brush to scrub, though that last part isn't even necessary sometimes. After having my son, I started using an Ameda hospital grade pump. It came with the tubing set and 2 bottles. I exclusively pumped for the first two weeks until I was able to get my son to latch. I'm so glad I purchased these extra bottles, because it allowed me to store some milk in the fridge while also having more bottles available for the next time I pumped. They fit my Ameda Purely Yours perfectly. On a side note, the Medela bottles also fit on my pump, so I wouldn't be surprised if these fit on the Medela pumps as well. The lid is made up of two parts, an outer ring and an inner disc that covers the hole. This would allow you to put a nipple on and feed directly from the bottle without having to transfer to a whole new bottle. I haven't used these bottles to feed my son (use Dr. Brown's) so I can't comment on that feature, but I do like that the option is there. The little discs are sometimes hard to keep track of. (Lost one down the garbage disposal!) I read in other reviews that some people melted a bottle or two when sterilizing them. I watched over the bottles while they boiled for the entire time, and didn't have any problems.I'll preface this with it works with my pump,is an easy bottle shape to clean, & I can fit them in the door of my fridge. None have broken. This cap drives me nuts though! It's the last thing you want to deal with if you're pumping at work, in a car, or even just home in bed. If you put it on wrong it will leak everywhere. The little disk part of the caps is awful too. It's like the size of a quarter and will fling out of the bottle basket for the dishwasher (somehow) playing disk golf in there. Then when you try to find it, you'll break your back with your milk heavy boobs reaching into you washing machine. Hand wash them? Okay, just pray you don't drop them down the drain or lose any of them somehow. These are almost exactly like the old bottles. The only difference is the print is on the opposite side of the bottles. So when you're pumping, you can't see the measurements of how much milk you've pumped out. That is a good thing for some people who obsess over the amount, but I like to know how much I've pumped out to know when to stop. Bottles still work just fine though. I wish they made these in an 8oz size!My baby loves these and they hold the perfect amount of milk for her. She doesn't have too much formula at one time anyway as I only supplement at night so she bf and then has an oz or two afterward in one of these. Having a wide opening and not being so tall, these bottles are easy to clean and rinse.Very poor quality. The writing on the bottles came off almost immediately after sterilizing once and washing a few times. The cap should be one piece not two. I transfer the milk to the bag immediately because I don’t even wanna learn if these leak...We like to store breast milk in these containers because they can be popped into a bottle warmer. Our bottles are an irregular size so it doesn’t fit most bottle warmers. These handle the heating no problem. These are great especially since they sit right in the pump so they don't fall over. They hold about 5 oz. (even though they are only marked up to 4 oz.) so I have never gone over despite having a large supply. I ordered this set because I wanted to do less sterilizing each day (having only four come with the pump itself led to a lot of washing every day). Great product!Just what was needed and a few days quicker then expected. The only thing was that it was way over packaged nice to see that such a small item was well protected lol great job thank you!,,Très utile pour tirer et conserver son lait sans manipuler le lait.Plusieurs tétines s'ajustent dessus, ce qui est très pratique.
