The pictures are misleading. You only get the bottle and wire bracket. The white strip does NOT come with it. This is the second time I’ve ordered this bottle in hopes that it was a mistake (missing a piece) but it is not. Same thing. Both missing the white strip. The white strip is the only thing that works on a glass aquarium. So I’m very unsatisfied with this purchase. Do not get this if you want the white bracket.Sits too low on our pen made of 8 24x24 metal fences. Our rabbits chinned it, didn't use it once, and we ended up with going with tractor supply, which is one they enjoyed previously. Maybe they didn't figure out it had water because they were used to something higher, but I can't rate it higher as our bunnies essentially rejected it.In the photos, it shows the white hook included in the packaging, along with the wire hook. I specifically bought this because I wanted the white overhanging hook for my guinea pig’s cage but now have to return the bottle because it didn’t come with it. DisappointedI had this for a little over a year and it in the beginning had trouble letting water out which was fine because my hamster was a tiny dwarf hamster. It was fine for a while and started leaking but i didnt notice much. From experience i know i only need to refill these about once every 2 weeks, thought it was fine for 4 days. Guess not cuz my hamster died of dehydration cuz it all spilled out. Just spend the extra money on a good one if you actually care about your hamster, dont make the same mistake I did.Same one you get from walmart for $2.50 most of them are missing the white hanger pieceThe bottle itself is decent and didn't leak but the wire holder is useless and therefore the water bottle is useless. The wire isn't long enough and doesn't reach around the bottle far enough to actually hook on the cage. Total waste of money. Don't buy this.This is my favorite water bottle! It doesn't leak, it doesn't occlude. I have 6 of them for pet rats, some from Walmart some from Amazon. My oldest ones are more than a year old. I have bought additional ones since then because I trust them. The wire is long/wide enough. Hook the wire to the cage where the top of the bottle will be. Then place the water bottle so that the top 1/4 to 1/2 inch is even with the wire and then pull the wire over the top of the bottle. I have purchased more expensive bottles of many brands. This is the most reliable. My only complaint is that the bottles are only 8 ounces. I usually find them for $3-$5.I bought this bottle because my bunny's other water bottle was getting pretty old and worn out and it kept falling off of the cage. I replaced the water bottle with this one and she would not drink out of it at all. Thankfully, I still had the old water bottle, but I was wondering why she was not drinking out of it, so I researched it. It turns out that the recycle sign with the 3 on the bottom of the bottle means that it is made out of PVC, which is incredibly dangerous. I CANNOT believe that they would make this product for animals and claim that it is so much better because it is "BPA-free."
