Silica Gel is an effective desiccant that absorbs moisture from the air around it due to its nano-porous silica micro-structure, Silica Gel. This Silica Gel is non-indicating, meaning the beads are colorless and clear. The beads are 2-4 mm in diameter (roughly 6 mesh) and have the following range of absorption capacity: 11.2% at 20% Relative Humidity, 23% at 50% Relative Humidity, and 32% at 90% Relative Humidity.
