Very nice bottles. Examined carefully since some reviews indicated damages. These are perfect. Only one small complaint - the opening is a little smaller than my older bottles. Need a different funnel and then, all is good. Very fast delivery.I perform extensive research prior to spending my money on AMAZON products. I probably easily comb through 3-4 similar products, their respective sellers & read hundreds of reviews. Additionally, I do my diligence & run products through Fakespot & ReviewMeta website prior to purchasing. I hope to save people time with my extensive research as I find other high quality & real reviews an asset when making a decision on a product. With that said, here is my unbiased & personal review of this product:I purchased these bottles to start brewing homemade Kombucha and they have been fantastic. First off when receiving these bottles, they were packaged well, separated, and insulated with bubble wrap. None of the bottles were cracked or broken. I have performed 4x F2 with these bottles without one exploding or cracking (I do burp my bottles during the second fermentation). The silicone gasket fit over a plastic top easily & securely which provides a air tight seal to allow proper carbonation build up. I will need to look where to buy replacement down the road I suspect. However, so far these bottles have held up well, expect to be able to brew many more batches of Kombucha in the future. Purchased a 6 pack for $12-13. Not sure if I would spend more than $20 for them as I would rather buy Grolsch beer bottles, drink the beer & have swing-top bottles for cheaper (pro-tip).I've been making my own beer for sometime and the glass bottles I bought from Amazon before are no longer being sold so I had to find an alternative. As of right now, I haven't had any issues with these bottles and will continue to use them until I need to buy more.I'm hoping the clips will open more easily while keeping good sealI find these to be very sturdy, air tight, high quality bottles for second fermentation kombucha brewing. My first batch came out COMPLETELY fizzy/effervescent and full of bubbles, almost to a fault! I’m actually having to tame the amount of bubbles I get by drinking it faster and refrigerating after two days of second fermentation! Even with refrigeration, the result is very effervescent! I also happen to live in a very sunny and warm environment where it is easier to second-ferment kombucha in shorter periods of time, which helps! I find that it’s good to keep my second fermentation in partial sunlight, and in a warm environment to yield a bubbly brew, and then after 2 to 3 days, refrigerate…then it’s good to drink and still very bubbly! I have found the warmth to help in second fermentation, along with use of fruit, certain dried fruits, and a little bit of honey in combination.These bottle are very easy to clean, just make sure to cut up fruits/herbs small enough to pass through the top easily! I love these bottles and find them perfect for my purpose!Good product at fair price.I have not yet used these bottles, which I purchased to use with my Kombucha. I originally order one box of these bottles and one box of another brand.This brand is a MUCH more durable, Hardy, heavier glass! I had issues with the Amazon delivery guy kicking my package (on visiting.) The other brand bottles were broken, none of these were. The other brand were just as heavy, but you could see an offset line of where the bottoms are manufactured, this is where they broke. This brand is uniform in the manufacturing and I am NOT worried about the bottoms breaking at all under pressure.VERY pleased with this purchase. Got a refund on the cheap ones that broke and went ahead and ordered a second box of these! They arrived undamaged (though the bottle box was damaged, the whole corner of it crushed, inside a perfect Amazon box, NO broken bottles.)I've washed all my bottles and caps, all operate easily, can't wait to use them!Bought for bottling Mean. Great quality, super stylish, easy to clean, lids fit nicely. Great bottle. I’ll be ordering more.
