I ordered this board book on a whim while looking for science and math based baby books. I was intrigued by the positive reviews, and now that I have the book in hand, it's easy to see why so many people enjoy this series!The book is thick, sturdy, and should easily hold up to my 17-month-old's idea of "reading." The illustrations are adorable -- bright, cheerful, and full of whimsy. The best part, however, is that this book does actually contain accurate scientific information! If you want a textbook for your child, check elsewhere, but if you want simple, basic explanations of how things fly, then this is the way to go.The illustrations, accuracy, and sturdiness make this a winner in my book.P.S.
